THE WORLD'S QUICKEST MUSCLE CAR
The Next-Gen Charger is now the only vehicle of its kind with standard all-wheel drive, delivering both maximized performance and capability.
Our High-Performance Braking System comes with fixed six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, along with 16-inch vented front and rear rotors. A 31% increase in swept area from today's SRT® brakes helps provide ultimate track performance and brake fade resistance.
The widebody stance of the Next-Gen Charger offers an available staggered tire setup—305/35ZR20XL front, 325/35ZR20 rear Goodyear Eagle® Sport All-Season Tires. This allows the front tires to get independently tuned for maximum lateral acceleration and the rear tires to be tuned for stability—the first-ever street course-oriented setup in Charger history.
The Charger Daytona houses superior drive quality in its core structure. The battery pack is strategically placed in the middle of the body structure to fit the frame width and enforce it on either side. This helps provide 50-50 perfect weight balance, which, when coupled with the precise stiffness and lightweight materials of its rigid chassis, amplifies handling and control abilities.
The 400-volt propulsion system creates gripping performance on a backbone of BEV innovation. The high-voltage lithium-ion battery of the Next-Gen Charger Daytona delivers an initial peak of 550 kilowatts before shifting to a steady discharge rate of over 500. It can then sustain that discharge to the electric drive motors for a full quarter mile—and then repeat over ten times. That means greater acceleration, again and again.
PURE MUSCLE DESIGN
All of the most iconic elements of muscle car design come to a head in the Next-Gen Charger —hard lines, sharp angles, an aggressively broad stance and a standard widebody frame with the wheels pushed out to the maximum width, allowing for an available staggered tire setup—305/35ZR20XL front, 325/35ZR20 rear Goodyear Eagle® Sport All-Season Tires.
Developed by the Dodge Brand to offer drivers the roar they crave, the world's first Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust delivers an audible and tangible rumble unlike that of any other vehicle. The adjustable patent-pending system even works in concert with driving input, sounding and feeling different whether you're revving, accelerating, idling, or engaging one of the race-oriented Drive Modes like Drag Mode.
The "hidden hatch" design of the Next-Gen Charger creates greater access to the back via a fully raising rear hatch that never interrupts its sleek design. The redesigned rear also makes it more convenient to transport a variety of both large and cumbersome cargo, from luggage to performance tires.
The signature lighting of the Next-Gen Charger offers sinister style. LED high- and low-beam headlights illuminate your drive, while available cross-car running lights stretch along the vehicle's entire front face. At the center of them all are our illuminated Fratzog badges paying tribute to the early days of Dodge Muscle in the '60s.
INNOVATION UNLEASHED
Climb into a completely reimagined cabin with refined textures and dedicated functionality. The driver-oriented freestanding digital displays are designed for quick glances, while performance-driven features accessible via one-touch experiences make the Next-Gen Charger a thrill to command.
The driver-focused cockpit in the Next-Gen Charger offers quick and accessible control. A center-console 'On' button lets you kick things off with a single touch, while the pistol-grip shifter adds a touch of performance feel every time you change gears.
Available in the Next-Gen Charger are Black or Demonic Red heated and ventilated performance-inspired seats with fixed headrests and adjustable thigh bolsters. Available in a suede/Nappa leather combination, these seats give drivers ample comfort with which to experience the thrill of peak performance.
The second-row seats in the Next-Gen Charger can fold flat as needed, resulting in a Best-in-Class cargo volume of 38.5 cubic feet—that's 133% more than that of current Charger model.
REVEL IN DOMINATION
The integrated technology of the Next-Gen Charger is all about the one-touch experiences. Monitor key performance information using the dedicated Performance Pages, from Timers and Gauges to G-Force and Propulsion stats.
REINFORCE YOUR CONFIDENCE
The standard Active Driving Assist System officially gives the Next-Gen Charger the most autonomous driving features of any muscle car ever. The system lets the vehicle take partial control of acceleration and braking and can even adjust lane positioning when the driver allows. A sensor in the steering wheel helps ensure that the driver keeps their hands on the wheel while using the feature.
This system uses a forward-facing camera and radar sensor input to detect vehicles or pedestrians in your path. If driver input is not detected, the feature issues visual and audible notifications, and can even engage the emergency brakes if needed.
When another vehicle is detected in your blind spot, this system issues a visual warning via the triangle icon on your exterior mirror and makes an audible chime if the turn signal is activated. Rear Cross Path Detection can also detect and alert you about objects behind your vehicle when you're backing up.
Using the vehicle's forward-facing camera and navigation information, Traffic Sign Recognition reads upcoming traffic signs and can display the speed limit on your Digital Cluster Display.
